MOMENTS III 'Bedtime Stories & Truths' opens with a beautiful tribute to one of the invigorating qualities of marriage. Anderson admits to the exquisite feeling he gets, from the mere sound of his spouse's voice, just before he drifts into sleep, he calls the poem Bedtime.

In his third iteration of precious moments, he shares some fourteen poems and several short stories, about problems, decisions and consequences. The poetry is moving and real, and the stories are equally gratifying, as they share the ups and downs of people, mainly couples, when they make ill-advised decisions. Readers are given the opportunity to evaluate the situations and pass judgment; after all, it's not their problem, at least not at the 'Moment'.

Anderson asks questions he simply calls 'What-Ifs'. What if we could honestly evaluate the pros and cons of each situation, and not need the proverbial 'hindsight is 20/20' declaration? What if we could ask for what we really want, not just what's proper? What if we could feel what we really want to feel and share that feeling, and what if we could stand up for what we really believe in? Would we still make the same decisions?

MOMENTS III 'Bedtime Stories & Truths' is enlightening, and at times intriguing. The characters remind us of someone else, or maybe of ourselves. The situations are too familiar and the consequences reminiscent of the changes in our lives. This is a reflective read, which in the end is ultimately about how we live our lives.
